As promised: Baby goats

Mom with kids

Yes, I went back to Riverdale Farm with Alison on Tuesday to look at the baby goats. Here are two of the five of them, being watched over by their proud mum. Bonus cuteness was provided by a visiting three-year-old boy, there with his mum and little brother, who kept coming over to us with earnest reports on the baby goats: "They are very cute. They are having their nap time. They are very cute! I am going to look at the sheep, want to come?"

Alison photographed the animals and then showed them the pictures. Most were unimpressed, but this chicken seemed rather keen:

You got my good side!

Some more pics on my Flickr page, as usual.

Snowbank redux

Snowbank's end, originally uploaded by squiddity of toronto.

The buckets that we carried from Christie Pits to York University were put on display on April 4 at AGYU, along with a video of their epic journey. The pile of white buckets looked a little like... a snowbank.

Escape from the Blob

Emerging
These pictures of people emerging from a giant inflated burlap blob were taken yesterday at the "Activate the Park" event in Butterfield Park, the little parkette next to/underneath OCAD. OCAD's first-year Interaction Design students are obviously having way too much fun.
Escape!
Another highlight was the human foosball table, which actually seemed to function really well as a game. Could be the next big thing! Look for it at your summer corporate picnics!
